How to Try on Soccer Cleats for the Best Fit
In the below video, we show you 3 top tips for trying on shoes in-person for the best possible fit!
Seems obvious, but many people, especially soccer parents with children go about picking a cleat very quickly, but many cleats fit differently both from regular shoes/sneakers and each other, by brand, etc
Step 1) Find your ACTUAL cleat size
You may think you're a 9, but in cleats you may be 8.5 or with laceless cleats even 8... Double check your size at the store by measuring your foot and going down a half size, or check out the chart in our video
Step 2) Shop for performance
If you're really trying to play your best, don't shop based solely on your favorite player, brand, or color. Instead try on different shoes to check for a great fit that will be more likely to ensure high level performance
Step 3) Test the shoes
REALLY test them Everyone seems to put on a pair of cleats, walk 3 steps, do 4 juggles, and say "ok these are good", but remember in soccer, you're typically doing many sprints and changes of direction. This will really effect how the shoes feel on your feet. If they're too tight in the mid foot or front foot, those sharp movements are going to become painful after just 5 minutes or so...
Let us know if you have any questions or if you have other tips that you like to use when picking out and trying on cleats.
We do have a return/exchange policy, so if you're buying cleats online with us and they end up not fitting, you can return and exchange for a different size so long as they have not been used and you have the receipts :)
